Project 2

 Animation

Examples of animated title sequences in animated comedies with the target audience of 14-18 year olds.

Family Guy - Opening scene

The Simpsons - Opening scene

South Park - Opening intro

Big Mouth- Opening

Rick and Morty- Opening

The Simpsons (1990)-

It is 1 minute 28 seconds long and describes what a day in the life in the Simpsons family feels like in Springfield. The credits are all at the very end of the animation shown on the TV after all the family sit down and in quick succession. This type of animation is very old kind of animation and has a drawn look. In depth we see the Bart character and what he is like very early in the intro, we get to know that he rides skateboards and gets into trouble at school as the first scene of him he is in detention. We see how Homer messes up at his work which describes his character and also almost get run over by his wife. We also see marge looking after her child while going shopping. And Lisa is very little seen in the intro.

Main Character- Older brother teaching his 1 year younger brother about teenage/adulthood and taking him on 'adventures'

Secondary Character- Younger brother who knows nothing, following older brother

who wrote and illustrated the tiger came to tea Wrote - Judith Kirr Illustrated -
Judith Kirr

The book is about a hungry tiger who came to a little girls home and ate everything it, While the dad was at work. It also shows friendship between the tiger and the little girl. The front cover is very bland and doesn't have much colour, also it looks as though it was drawn by a child, maybe to attract the right audience to the book. The typography goes in theme with the very bland and 'boring' scene in this book. There is also alot of blank space (white space) to make people focus on the main aspect of the front cover which is the tiger and little girl
